Privacy notice
Last updated: 11 October 2026
We collect as little as we can. There are no accounts, no sign-up and no cookies on this shop.
What we collect
- Order data: your Nostr public key, the order message, the bitcoin transaction (address, amount and time, which is public on the blockchain), and the order record we keep to deliver your product and to keep our accounts.
- Messages: if you contact us, the message and the Nostr public key you wrote from.
- Not collected: your name, postal address, phone number, email address, payment card or bank details. We run no advertising. Our web host counts page views and unique visitors and shows us totals: views (per week and in total), unique visitors per week, and views by page, referring site, crawler and missing page. We read only those totals; we see no names, addresses or IP addresses.
Why we use it
To deliver your order, answer you, handle refunds, keep the tax and accounting records the law requires, and prevent payments from sanctioned addresses.
Who sees it
We do not sell your data. Nostr messages travel through public relays, and our listings and files sit on public services (the Shopstr marketplace, Blossom file servers, Nostr relays and the web host of our brochure pages, which like any web host sees the IP address of each visit), which keep what they receive under their own rules, and which we do not control. Direct messages are encrypted, but who messaged whom and when may be visible to relays. Other services that handle some of it: the public block explorer and price feed our order desk asks about your payment (by default mempool.space). Messages that are not standard order commands may be read by Anthropic, an AI service provider, which may process them outside Australia. We do not use your messages to train AI models.
How long we keep it
Order records are kept for at least five years, as Australian tax law requires. Messages are kept as long as needed to resolve your matter. We cannot delete anything already published to relays or file servers.
Your rights
You can ask what we hold about you and ask us to correct or delete it, apart from records we must keep by law. Send a Nostr direct message to this shop's public key. As a small Australian business we may be exempt from the Australian Privacy Principles, but we follow this notice anyway. If you are in the EU or UK, see the business-only note in the terms.
